: Did the SS1 happen to have a GX frame buffer? The Classic does not
: have a GX on the motherboard, which can make a _BIG_ difference in how

SS-1, SunOS 4.1.1, 16Mb RAM, OW 3.0, CG3 frame buffer.
Classic, Solaris 2.2, 16Mb RAM, OW 3.2, CG3 frame buffer.

I am ordering a 32Mb memory upgrade, that may solve the problem.
