Summary: unable to boot 386bsd on Packard Bell 386SX/20

Running a packard bell 386SX/20, I am unable to boot with the rawritten copy
of dist.fs or fixit.fs . I waited about 10 minutes with no response.

This may be some helpful info:
--I read in INSTALL.NOTES that 386bsd minimally requires a hard disk and
controller, floppy disk drive, and display adapter. Many DOS programs have
had a hard time locating and identifying my display adapter (some kind of
Western Digital/Paradise thing hard-wired to the motherboard. I had trouble
finding it, and identifying it, well, I found a piece of software that could
tell me. If the numbers of the WD chipset are needed, I could dig up the
software and check again).

--The Linux boot disk has been successfully loaded in the past.

--If more info is needed on the display, hard disk, or floppy, I have to
take the computer apart to read the labels on the components, or jerry-rig
some other software method of finding out. I'm hoping that someone already
knows the problem and solution.

If all else fails, I'll just write off the problem to owning a Packard Bell.
