The thing is, I can't write code and we would have to have : a device driver on floppies to install so folks will be able to load the : tared code from a CDROM instead of the high density floppies. : : I don't have ftp so it'll have to be e-mail or or US mail. : : I welcome all suggestions... also on what else to include on the CD. : -steve Instead of just dumping the tar binary there why don't you just dump the 386BSD scsi drive image to the cd-rom. That way we can access the cd-rom directly. It is only for 386BSD isn't it? Not for DOS , linux or sun. As someone had pointed out, it is faster to compress the cd-rom first. However we haven't got stacker for 386BSD yet, have we? -- Othman bin Ahmad, School of EEE, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore 2263.
