Instead of just dumping the tar binary there why don't you just dump the
386BSD scsi drive image to the cd-rom. That way we can access the  cd-rom
directly. It is only for 386BSD isn't it? Not for DOS , linux or sun.
	As someone had pointed out, it is faster to compress the cd-rom first.
However we haven't got stacker for 386BSD yet, have we?
