Jesus folk, why not put these attitudes in the bottom drawer and leave them there! I see advantages to NetBSD. I see some promised advantages to 0.2. It seems to me that FreeBSD is going to stagnate in the middle of all of them! If I were to choose a side, I'd choose NetBSD. In fact, I have. I'm running three NetBSD machines right now. I have had some conflicts with various sides, the Jolitz's are nice folk, but tend to be busy. The NetBSD folk don't want Hesiod queries for password / group / other lookups, but chose to add YP support. Oh well, I'll just get around to adding that support again and releasing those patches. One thing Linux has going for it is there is ONE big push, but three medium sized ones. Please folk, join where you can. NetBSD is the way, in my opinion. >(Before you ask, yes, there was talk of merging >the two efforts. Instead of breaking off at yet another spot in the source release, join NetBSD and make something we can use. --Michael -- Michael Graff <explorer@iastate.edu> Speaking for myself, not Project Vincent Voice: (515)294-4994 for ISU or the ISUCC Iowa State Univ Comp Center Fax: (515)294-1717 Ames, IA 50011 -=*> PGP key on pgp-public-keys@pgp.iastate.edu <*=-
