Does it get built with GCC1 or GCC2? Until I rebuild the >libc.a, I can't rebuild ps. I'm presently building my first gcc2 kernel as I type. I did this (I think): o make a gcc1 -current kernel. o if it works, recompile and install ar, tsort, nm, ranlib, dmsym, and ld. Then make gcc2. install gcc2. o recompile /usr/src again. Most of it at least. Be sure to make the libs and install them first. o I remade gcc2 again at this point, Just In Case. o make a new kernel with gcc2. I'll let you know if it all works. ;) --Michael -- Michael Graff <explorer@iastate.edu> Speaking for myself, not Project Vincent Voice: (515)294-4994 for ISU or the ISUCC Iowa State Univ Comp Center Fax: (515)294-1717 Ames, IA 50011 -=*> PGP key on pgp-public-keys@pgp.iastate.edu <*=-
