I'm now screaming. How do I get getty to do 8 bits no parity? NOTHING seems to do it. I've mucked about with just about everything I can think of including gettytab (of course, no help there) the getty sources, <sys/ttydefaults.h> and pretty much everything else. And getty ALWAYS prints the welcome message and login: with some form of parity. Help! Bruce
