How do I extract etc(0.1) dist under NetBSD? Date: 29 Jul 1993 19:13:16 GMT Organization: University of California, Santa Cruz Lines: 16 Message-ID: <2397gcINNps1@darkstar.UCSC.EDU> NNTP-Posting-Host: noether.ucsc.edu Keywords: extract NetBSD I have recently installed NetBSD (*FANTASTIC JOB BTW*) and I was not able to extract the etc distribution under 0.1 during the netBSD install procedure. When I went through the whole process again in fact- the installation procedure deleted /etc/distrib where I had left the files. So my question.... With a fully functioning NetBSD system, how can I copy the etc distribution onto the hard-disk from floppies and extract it? (I installed the entire NetBSD tree, including sources...) Thanks! ~ _______________________________________________________________________ David Darknell david@maxwell.ucsc.edu ---gnothi seauton _______________________________________________________________________
