Message-ID: <CAwy7K.20s@kithrup.com> Date: Thu, 29 Jul 1993 06:33:05 GMT Lines: 12 Much to my amazement, Chris Demetriou, who is still here as I type this, proved to me that NetBSD 0.9 (pre-ALPHA) was able to boot on my old '386, which, with any and all versions of 386BSD, was not able to get past the floppy bootstrap. Wow! I am *impressed*! I was terribly disappointed when no 386BSD bootables were able to deal with my old machine, when Linux was capable of doing so, so I can now believe that *bsd is becoming really portable. So, yay to Chris and the other NetBSD folks, as well as everyone else who has contributed to the project.
