Therefore, I am giving it a try myself. system: 486/33 ISA gateway machine with an IDE hard drive. I want to add a SCSI controller and disk to this system. I would like to solicit from the Net any info on good candidates for this addition. Note the 'add' keyword, I still want to use the IDE drive. (Note: the disk may be an external disk.) Also if you care to share with me any experiences in installing that SCSI controller and disk along side the IDE drive and any disklabel'ing [mis]adventures which you endured.
