Subject: NetBSD 0.8: is there a bug in newfs or mkfs?

When I run newfs on any partition of my disklabeled IDE drive,
my machine crashes. I would like to find out if this is a known
bug, and what I can do to fix it. *Any* information would be
helpful:
If...
1. You have disklabeled, newfs'd, fsck'd, and mounted
a second IDE hard drive successfully
2. You experienced a similar problem with newfs
3. You can point me to a current summary of bugs in
{Net,386}BSD
please let me know.
Thanks,
Dave
