To the person who answered my last message about TIP, thank you! I
have remade tip from the patches that you gave me, but now I have a
different problem. (I lost your mail message, or else would have
addressed this to you.)

For everyone else, here is the situation. I have a 486 PC running
386BSD 1.0 and I am trying to use tip with a modem on com3. I have
recompiled the kernel to get support for com3, and I have recompiled
tip with patches that were sent to me. I have replaced my /etc/remote
and /etc/phones files with files sent to me, renaming appropriate
things. I now get a segmentation fault.

What do you believe causes this? Is it a problem with the code,
device, or something in my configuration. I will post more detailed
info if I can, but I don't have net access on that machine right now,
so I have to play some serious games if I am going to be able to post
anything at all.

Thank you very much for your time, and thanks in advance for any help.
