Can anyone help with this: I'm running 386BSD in multiuser mode.
On the console screen I'm getting these 8 bit graphics charcaters
(IBM character set) when the system prompts for login:

This goes away right after I logged in. How can I beautify this a bit?
Where is the point where the console tty setting before login is influenced ?

Isn't it the line in /etc/ttys? What other getty defs are possible and where do I find them?
