Hi. I have both an IDE and a scsi drive. I want to boot off of the sd
because I need to reformat/newfs my ide drive. I've got all the necessary
files on sd0a, and recompiled the kernel to be configured to have "boot on
sd0". I also changed whatever files. The problem is that when the first
NetBSD screen comes up with type hd(1......... to boot from sd when wd is also
installed, i type
sd(0,a)/386bsd
it still boots off of the ide drive.
If i do
hd(1,a)/386bsd
it hangs.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanx...alex...
