Message-ID: <1993Aug6.205154.2362@info.brad.ac.uk> X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.1 PL9] Date: Fri, 6 Aug 93 20:51:53 BST Lines: 15 Why are all the rotated, compressed logfiles created by the /etc/[daily|weekly|monthly] scripts all only three bytes long? Sounds pretty good compression to me - unfortunately its irreversible :-\ Is this a common problem or is it just me? And is there an easy fix. I am running (more or less) virgin NetBSD-0.8, with 486DX CPU Adaptec 1542c with one sd (boot device) one ide drive (not used - DOS drive yeuch!) SMC Elite 16 card (using new ed0 driver) Trident Graphics on motherboard standard serial/parallel ports any ideas?
