My 1542C seems to come up ok and it finds the Archive Python DAT drive which
is set on id #4. I've read the FAQ and done a 'MAKEDEV std' and even a
'MAKEDEV all' (not to mention a 'MAKEDEV st0'), but the device won't respond
when I try 'dump'. It seems that it is not configured. Perhaps I'm
misunderstanding the FAQ when it says that devices will be configured when
accessed. /dev/st0 is size 0... nothing... nada... rien de tout! Is there an
additional step that the FAQ assumes I know?

Thanks in advance,
Philip
