I have two HP7958 170M drives one with HP-UX and one with the Net2 source. Note that 5.2 is SysV pre-NFS, cc is pre-ANSI, and we have had no luck compiling gcc (even 1.4.2). I would like some assistance in creating a bootable disk. I have had no luck compiling 'make' so I can't format the man pages and documents provided. We have a third disk and a cartridge tape available if necessary. Can anyone help me with this; has anyone done this? I assume that Net2 is complete for the HP300s. We cannot afford the ~3500 Cdn for 4.4BSD. Are there any other groups which deal with Net2? This seems like asking for instructions on making rice paper from a bag of rice. Thank you for any assistance.
