The 386bsd FAQ is available by anonymous FTP from
hrd769.brooks.af.mil:~/pub/FAQ. It is rapidly becoming a FAQ for "Net/2
Derived BSD for 386/486 PCs" instead of specifically 386bsd. Of course,
with the imminent departure of the FAQ coordinator, he is real busy
doing real work type stuff....

The fair share is about 117.3; the average share is lower than that.

I don't have a clue about this one.

I think that is odd... You are running the GENERICISA kernel when you
install. A "Good Thing" is to take out any definitions you do not need
(a brief list of which is included in the FAQ section about the
configuration file) and recompile. Of course, you should be creating
your own configuration file to match the configuration of your system.

Each of these take up a lot of space each, as I recall...

If you remove DDB and whatever network drivers you don't need, you
should be able to get up to at least 24.

There are lots of lurkers. Not only that, but the FAQ is SO excellent
that there just aren't any unanswered questions...

Sorry, I couldn't resist...
