Well... aside from memory and hard drives... these systems are like apples and oranges. 17" monitors are MUCH more expensive than 14"... and much more useful. And, the R4000 is going to be EXPONENTIALLY faster than any 486... Like a Corvette and a Ford Escort Station Wagon.
