Also, Since we are ordering this tomorrow, i'd really appreciate it if someone could reply as soon as possible] My department is planning on buying a computer which will be running 386bsd, or Freebsd (whenever that becomes available). The following is the system we are planning on getting: i486DX2-66 VLB Tseng4000 Chip Set VLB (is there another good cheap video card?) Adaptec 1542B SCSI adapter card 16MB RAM 128k cache 1.2 GB SCSI drive SMC Elite16 network card Are these components supported by 386BSD ? Also: 1> Am i going to experience any problems if i install two hard drives? 2> Are the above cards supported? 3> is it worthwhile getting an EISA system? 4> Any other recommendations???
