A brief note of clarification on the recently announced T-shirts.
The T-shirts were first designed shortly after the USL suit was
filed against the University of California. At the time USL was
majority owned by AT&T, so I deemed it appropriate to have the BSD
daemon skewer a deflated blue horizontally striped ball. With the
sale of USL to Novell, it no longer seems appropriate to lambaste
AT&T; since Novell has not yet made their position clear, it also
seemed premature to lambaste them. So, the latest rendition of the
T-shirt pokes holes in the corporate logo most directly responsible
for the lawsuit. While many may confuse the deflated angular mass
on the trident as purple spaghetti, those reading this newsgroup
will recognize its true identity: the dreaded Deathsquare.

Because of several requests from the little people and the giants,
I will be adding size Small and XXLarge to the set of available
sizes that may be ordered. Also, I recently came across a box of
the earlier shirts, so some of the orders were filled with these
shirts. This same box also contained a few Medium-sized 4.3BSD
daemon shirts (the 4.3BSD daemon appears on the cover of ``The
Design and Implementation of 4.3BSD UNIX'' book). These are also
available on a first come-first served basis.
