When I last hacked on MGR years ago at Bellcore, it was very portable; all it really requires is that you be able to do an mmap of the display into your address space, or an equivalent. (Without being able to get the bitmap into your memory space things get hard.) Ask Steve Uhler, the author of MGR, if you have real questions (he's sau@bellcore.com) -- Perry Metzger pmetzger@shearson.com -- Just say "NO!" to death and taxes. Extropian and Proud.
