I think the massive crossposting of this very technical thread is inappropriate.
However if you're going to post in the comp.os.linux hierarchy there is now
an appropriate place for it: comp.os.linux.development. I've changed the
newsgroup line to go there. Please make sure that any followups go only to that
group of the c.o.l hierarchy.
