I used to use : the modem on my bbs with a 25 pin to 25 pin modem cable that gave me no : problems. I have an ide card that has two comm ports on it and since I bought : it a long time ago I lost the handy dandy guide two page guide that explained : the jumpers on it. Now it's down to trial and error to at least disable one : of the ports so my internal modem will work. I fixed it. It works now.
