I don't know if BSD runs on the 260, though. I suspect it doesn't. It'd be very nice if it did! Sprite will also run on the 5000/240, and unlike 4.4BSD you don't need an AT&T source license to use Sprite. It's not for the faint at heart, though. (Today I found out that Sprite doesn't have a /dev/tty. This makes many ports...interesting.
