1)  Libcompat is fixed in NetBSD, and is also fixed in the patchkit.  As
I recall, I fixed this by linking libcompat to one of the smaller libs
and letting the routines that are in libc.a get pulled in.

2)  Do you mean other than the one from last Friday that is available by
anonymous FTP from HRD769.brooks.af.mil:~/pub/FAQ?

3)  Thanking someone in advance for something they haven't done yet is
considered rude in some societies.  It implies a that the recipient is
obligated to perform a task that they have not, in fact, agreed to do.
It is not a big problem for me, but I know many people that are really
annoyed by this nit.
