JDR Microdevices in San Jose, Ca (408) 280-7144 has a 4 port serial
card for less than $100. Some surgery was required to get it
up with cgd's serial driver (now obsolete) but it works fine.
I have a 486dx50 running 0.2.3 with three of these cards for a total
of 12 serial ports. If you are interested, I can provide details of
what was required to get the card to work. It comes with 16450 uarts
and you should upgrade to 16550. I have not tried it with NetBSD or
0.2.4 but I would expect it to work with the updated drivers ala
Bruce Evans.

Somebody on the net was making noise about building an 8 port board.
I don't know what ever became of it.
