I am sorry to bother you with my question, but the guy who is normally managing bsd at our's is spending his vacation. The problem is the following: A student has bsd386 installed on his private pc. Therefore he wants to transfer files from his pc to the pc's at the university. using mcopy works well when copying from the floppy to the hard drive, but the other way the following error message appears: "init: open: no such file or directory" Has anyone some idea how to solve this problem? I suggested to mount the dos floppy, but we weren't able to do so. Is there any work-around? thanx in advance, tom --- * Thomas Auer | I doubt that there can be found * * tom@cosy.sbg.ac.at | anything as beautiful as a small * * tauer@edvz.sbg.ac.at | integer * "Come to the paradise on earth, visit orca.cosy.sbg.ac.at on port 3592" (Samedi)
