While I am certainly willing to do that, I am really at a loss for the 'why' of a lot of the stuff that happens in the FAQ. Most of the stuff that I put in there is space filler until a good answer comes along (e.g. the compleat idiot's guide to disk partitioning). I wrote a bit that was OK, but left out a lot of important details. The new bit is better. It is YOUR FAQ. I just coordinate/maintain it. If I could write code, I'd be writing my own QIC-News... BTW, the guaranteed most up-to-date FAQ is available by anonymous FTP from hrd769.brooks.af.mi:~/pub/FAQ. It appears that the Stupid MilNet Name Server problem has once again prevented us from being available by FTPMail. E-Mail me and I will forward it by hand. -- ------ TSgt Dave Burgess NCOIC AL/Management Information Systems Office Brooks AFB, TX
