Subject: 4 port 16550A/16554 serial cards -- Kouwell vs. STB

I'm planning on buying a 4 port dumb (albeit 16550A, i.e. FIFO) serial
card for my new NetBSD system. Chris and maybe others have well have
mentioned the STB card, which uses the 16554, essentially 4 16550A
UARTs integrated into one chip. Several places in the SF Bay Area
advertise these for $109. Several other places have a Kouwell 4 port
card, which claims to use the 16550A (possibly a 16554), and is $40
cheaper. Is this a better deal or does the STB card have desireable
functionality/quality/whatever that the Kouwell card lacks? Are there
other, competetive cards that would be an even better choice? Where
might I find the best prices on whatever board I choose, preferably
local here in the Bay Area?
