It returns disklabel: /dev/rwd1d: Invalid argument I get this whether I try to read, write or whatever. I tried the stuff in the FAQ but mine is not the same condition. Even if I give disklabel the wrong number of arguments, it still returns the same message. I used to have a different second IDE drive there and it worked OK. This was on an earlier patch kit. I have Coherent (Mark Williams Co *IX clone) and a DOS extended partition on the drive already. I would rather not remove them. Can anyone clue me in? Boyd -- "Home is where the cats are" Boyd R.
