Message-ID: <1993Aug24.230236.29837@newstand.syr.edu> Organization: Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY Date: Tue, 24 Aug 93 23:02:36 EDT Lines: 16 Howdy, I would like to use a parallel printer with my NetBSD system. I have poked around in /sys/i386/conf, but there don't seem to be any configuration files with an example of how to configure in lpt. I have (briefly) experimented with the interruptless lpt driver mentioned in the FAQ, tried to adapt the instructions to work with NetBSD rather than 386bsd, but couldn't get the kernel to compile (errors in some files included by the new lpt.c). If you can give me a vague idea of what I need to do, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Dave -- dhhoveme@rodan.acs.syr.edu
