Hi,
I have compiled XFree86 (version 1.3) and linked it against Pete
Chown's shared libraries (giving a space saving of about 16Meg on
disk, and making vmstat look a lot nicer).

If anyone is interested in copies of the binaries and the shared
libs to go with them, I can make these available for anonymous
ftp. (I will do this even if only one or two people are
interested.)

The compile was done on a 486 with gcc2.4.5, so any exec's which
do FP math may not run on a 386 (w'out fpu).

If anyone is interested, please drop me a line by email
(to csgr@alpha.ru.ac.za).

Geoff.
