That was a while ago, and since then the performance for wd8003 boards has improved considerably. I hope you'll give the driver another try. Please try to keep in mind that while I've tested the driver with most of the common SMC/WD/3Com boards, I don't own one of each of them, and so I rely on reports from others on how well it is/is not working. I might have found the problems much earlier if you had told of your experiance. -DG
