I first tried the upgrade, which went smoothly, except that the kernels (both kernel disks) didn't recognize my ethernet card and list it in the initial devices. This is strange since NetBSD 0.8 had no problems-- it happily declared it an ec0. I gather that under 0.9 it would be ed0. (I am running the card in 10BaseT mode rather than using the AUI, so I presume I don't need ifconfig flags. This assuming I could use ifconfig. As it is I get "no such interface".) Should there be a working driver for this controller on the kernel floppies? Or do I have to slip-install and then build a kernel which will support it? Thanks, Phil -- Phil Brandenberger (phil@cs.swarthmore.edu)
