Both are Net/2 based OS's for the Intel x86 architecture. -- Umm.. this is misleading. While NetBSD does support the i386 architecture, it is being modified towards providing a common code base for ports to other architectures. Already we have ports for the Amiga, hp300 (this was largely in net/2), Macintosh (to be released soon). I am also aware of ports-in-progress for other 68k-based platforms including the Sun3 (by me), NS32k single-board computers, and 88k, MIPS, and sparc-based workstations. later, Adam Glass -- Adam Glass |E-mail home: glass@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu |Physical : Seattle "reality is for dead birds"
