Rezac) Newsgroups: comp.os.386bsd.bugs Subject: mountd and subdirs Message-ID: <1891@dcsc.dla.mil> Date: 27 Aug 93 17:05:57 GMT Organization: Defense Construction Supply Center, Columbus Lines: 30 I have been having a problem with mountd and subdirectories. I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a problem on my maching. System - 80386 PC running patchlevel 0.2.4 of 386bsd Problem: mountd refuses mounts of subdirectories of directories in the export file. Example: directories /foo and /foo/bar exist. /foo is in /etc/exports for everyone with rwx permissions for all. mounting from pcnfs: /foo will mount, but /foo/bar fails if I add /foo/bar to the exports file, it mounts. Any Suggestions? Duane L. Rezac drezac@dcsc.dla.mil -- +-----------------------+---------------------------------------------------+ | Duane L.
