The XFree86 install program complains that the kernel has no support for X, and running xstart confirms this; the output complains that neither codrv nor pccons support is present. I recall reading that codrv is not compatible with NetBSD 0.9. But why wasn't pccons support included in the stock GENERICISA kernel? (Or am I doing something wrong?) Does this mean that to run XFree86-1.3 on NetBSD 0.9 I'm gonna have to recompile the kernel with either codrv or pccons before I can run XFree86-1.3? thanks -dwh- dhess@cs.stanford.edu
