(not really technical) they are: The tape driver that has the changes in it is quite changed from the tape driver you have.. It is part of a very changed scsi system (a lot of changes have gone into it.) These changes will be seen in the FreeBSD cdrom and distribution, and eventually in NetBSD (some are already there)). the trouble I have is that either I release teh whole scsi system, or I don't release anything.. the new st.c won't compile without all the changed include files, but the changed include files won't allow the other old .c files to compile... it's an 'all or nothing' thing.
