We install NetBSD-0.9 and try to add on some tools like emacs-19.19, gdb-4.10, ... The problem is the changed a.out format of NetBSD-0.9 and the missing support in the gnu tolls! Why was it necessary to change the format and writing an new execve procedure? Now there are two (three?) BSD-like operating systems which have to be supported? Why it's not possible to concentrate all the energy to ONE operating system? Its verry hard to port the whole tools per hand to NetBSD-0.9. Why it is impossible to extend the distribution like Linux does, so everybody must not do the same time eating boaring porting job? Nevertheless i think NetBSD is a really good and stable operating system!
