Does this mean it's impossible? Or is it : >something that only wizards are allowed to do? : > : > : Yup, there sure is. : Does it mean that it is impossible? No. : Does it mean I don't have the first CLUE how to do it? Yes. : Wizards? Probably not. There was a rather heated exchange about this : maybe six months ago. The jist of it was that there was a program for : formatting floppies, and the author could do it, but the author thought : the requestor was really rude... : You get the idea, I hope. : With any luck at all, someone that DOES have a clue will quietly write : up a short article for inclusion in the FAQ and that step will then be : updated. (HINT!!) : For formatting a floppy to 386bsd I will post the article I saw by someone else to comp.os.386bsd.development &misc. For previously unformatted diskettes use an alternate formater like the one from MS-DOS. ___________________________________________________________________________ Jesus Monroy Jr jmonroy@netcom.com /386BSD/device-drivers /fd /qic /clock /documentation ___________________________________________________________________________
