The situation is that I telnet to some host with NetBSD and prompt appeared but I can't input any word. After some examine, I found it's because the telnetd toggle flow control off when telnet send will do binary (I use Chinese, it's need 8bit transfer) and never toggle flow control on. Therefore, the connection is ok in fact but useless. Rlogind has no such problem. Is there any solution? -- ________________________________________________________________________ / National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan / \ | Name: Yeng-Chee Su Dept: Computer Engineering |__/ | Phone: Not present at this time E-mail: yenchee@csie.nctu.edu.tw | | Address: 22, 2 Alley, 173 Lane, Gao Tsui Road, HsinChu, Taiwan 300 |___ \______________________________________________________________________\__/
