If i issue a reboot the system logs the reboot, kills the running processes that can be killed and then hungs. DDB's ps shows that getty is waiting for ttyout, and init is waiting on a wait and reboot is waiting on something. Then i have to press reset. I don't right now have the code for reboot, but shouldn't it timeout after trying to kill the running processes ? The cause is definitly the hung getty, because if it's not enabled reboot succeeds. Thanks. --- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- | You are not expected to understand this. | Szabolcs Szigeti | | - Ken Thompson in swtch() - | Internet: pink@fsz.bme.hu | =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
