I'm currently running (or want to run) XFree-1.3u1, but had the same problem with 1.2 and 1.3. My kernel was built with options XERKNEL and UCONSOLE. My Xconfig file has the following for the mouse: Busmouse "/dev/mse0" startx starts things up fine. The mouse responds fine. But when I type any- thing in one of the windows, nothing echos or happens until I move the mouse. I'm probably doing something really stoopid here. --Nick -- =============================================================================== Nick Cuccia cuccia@talamasca.berkeley.ca.us cuccia@remarque.berkeley.edu ===============================================================================
