The boot floppies that I have for 386bsd release 0.1 (dist.fs and fixit.fs)
dot appear to have a wd0 device available when booted on my system.
The banner displays [386BSD Release 0.1 .... 0.1.24 07/14/92 19:07]

install would not recognize the hard disk (a 210 meg western digital IDE).
I thought it was a problem with the disk, so I tried partioning it with
fdisk. Then I booted the 0.0 release again and labeled the disk.
nothing worked.

During the bootup sequence wd0 is not detected. pc0, com0, com1, npx,
fd0, fd1 are detected.

Has anyone got the boot floppies to recognize wd0 ?
Is the device actually configured in this kernel? (I assume it is since
I have not seen any other posts about it) What would cause the
hard disk not to be recognized? I was running 0.0 on my machine with
no problems before.
