The books in the local shops only have vague details about low level bits of the hardware. What I'm looking for are things like what commands can be send to an IDE drive, how to program the real time clock, how to program the floppy drive, etc. Or do I have to call the manufacture of the various chips and get their data books? Any help or information appreciated. -Ram -- -------------- Ram Bhamidipaty use this ->ram@epidat.epi.wisc.edu Department of Preventive Medicine or this->ram%epidat.decnet@macc.wisc.edu University of Wisconsin, Madison Ignore the header.
