I have an Adaptec 1542b controller, and a compatible CD-ROM. The CD-ROM is scsi address 2, and is referred to as /dev/as2d. Without Julian's SCSI drivers, I type % mount -rt isofs /dev/as2d /mnt twice, because the first time it gives me an input/output error, but it does work the second time. With Julian's SCSI drivers, I get a 'device not configured' error. Help! The 'rub' is, the only forseeable way I can get a printer under 386bsd requires Julian's SCSI drivers i.e. I can either have a printer or a CD-ROM. HELP! Thanks in advance, Chris Mikkelson --
