It was written (like the rest of the scsi system) originally for MACH2.5, and apparently worked to some extent on that system. (it read correctly but did not always write correctly.) I have done a 'theoretical' port of it (changed all the usual things) to 386bsd, but have never tried running it yet. It is a VERY LOW LEVEL scsi driver, in that it has to know all about the various phases on the scsi bus etc. If anyone with a 1680 wishes to complete the port, let me know and I can send you the file as it stands now. julian (julian@dilaix.oz.au juliane@dcd.wa.gov.au)
