So far, I've tried all sorts of netmasks and broadcasts and nothing seems to get me past Connect: Connection timed out. So, has anyone gotten the 3c503 driver in TinyBSD to work? It sees the card just, it's when I try to FTP that nothing happens. Anyway, I decided to give up on FTP and use a Z-Modem transfer over a serial line. I've tried both ports Com1 & Com2 and I get many, many com0: silo overflow errors. The strange thing is when I'm using Com1, I get the error, "com0: silo overflow" and when I'm using Com2, I get "com1: silo overflow". I've tried transfers at 4800 and 9600 baud and both give the errors. So, I'll report back if the 3c503 card works once the bin distribution has been installed. Until then, if anyone does have the 3c503 driver working, I'd appreciate it if you'd drop me a line. - jcb
