This has been explained many times here---The perl test seem to be looking for .dir files, something which the old db stuff created. Most of the GNU stuff works great, trn, rn, and a bunch of others work grea. For once, I do'nt have to recompile Nethack every time I want to play it. Of course, I'm running NetBSD, which may be more pure 4.3 than FreeBSD (I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW, SO DON'T BOTHER FLAMING OVER IT) Marc 'em. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc Wandschneider Seattle, WA "Satan has a stranglehold on my toilet and he won't let go!" - frm the Weekly World News
