  A quick glance shows that nothing uses the timezone in the config file.
You need to link /etc/localtime to /usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Eastern. Also
note that if you're in EDT (which you are) that the PC's CMOS clock needs
to be set an hour back to compensate. Last, remember that the 'date' com-
mand doesn't set the CMOS date/time.
